


Early on
Tom was born and raised in Los Angeles, surrounded by the vibrant film industry. He attended Beverly Hills High School, where he was introduced to media service classes. There, he worked on local productions that aired on the area’s first cable channel, the Z Channel.
During his time at Beverly Hills High, Tom also explored electronics, participating in Science Fairs and winning several awards for his innovative creations.
His passion for music ultimately led him to audio engineering, sparking a lifelong love for all things audio. Whether in the early days of his career during the analog era or in today’s digital age, Tom has always stayed ahead of the technological curve, continuously embracing new advancements.
Current
Tom Stasinis is an award-winning sound mixer with over 35 years of experience in television, film, and commercial production. He is widely recognized for his exceptional work on acclaimed series such as ABC’s Black-ish, HBO’s Entourage, NBC’s Community, and Fox’s Arrested Development.
Tom has won two Primetime Emmy Awards for his outstanding work on Entourage in 2009 and 2010 and received a Primetime Emmy nomination in 2012. In addition, he was nominated by the Cinema Audio Society in both 2017 and 2018 for his remarkable work on Black-ish episodes “Juneteenth, the Musical” (2018) and “God” (2017).
